"Just a happy story for you: I've been taking in medical foster dogs. I have had Sarah now for 6 weeks. She was a very shut down dog. She is 6 years old and was born in a shelter and lived there all 6 years.
It was a shelter that was attached to a prison in Louisiana that went badly wrong. She even had puppies while in this shelter. She was rescued by Green Dogs Unleashed and needed a surgery also for a torn cruciate ligament so she came to me.
When I got her a week before her surgery she was completely shut down. She only wanted to be in her crate and would hide in the corner and not come out. It took lots of hours of just sitting by her crate quietly to start to get her to come out. I changed her from a crate to a pen so I could go in and carry her out to go to the bathroom as she would just hold it too long rather then go out.
Her surgery was a success but it was difficult on her. I was giving her calming supplements and just spending hours and hours with her. I decided to order the eWell Puck for her to help her heal physically and emotionally. It seemed to help her after a few hours of it being on her collar. Each day started to get better and better. She started wagging her tail and licking my hand and wanting to spend more time outside. Then one day she went backwards and would not come out again. I had no idea why and thought nothing had changed.
But later that day I realized she had gotten the puck off her collar and chewed on the leather cover. So I put it back on her and the next day she was happy and wanted to go for a walk outside.
It helps her so much its amazing. So thank you for inventing something that helps so many!β
